In 2012, Benji Wagner, founder and creative director of Poler Outdoor Stuff, and myself started talking about the concept of Portland x Portland, since both Poler and Nike are based in the city. From the first project, the strength and authenticity of the storytelling would be focused around the skateboarders on the Nike SB team that have a lot of love for all things outdoors: Skateboarding, Surfing, Cycling, and of course, Camping. In the 5 years of collaborating, the content created to drive the excitement has taken the brands all over the world, including Hawaii, Iceland, New York, Croatia, and Lincoln City, Oregon.
